Privacy policy
How OvroIT collects, uses and protects information when you visit our website, contact us, or use software we build and run.
Last updated 6 September 2026
OvroIT is a software company based in Fulbaria, Mymensingh. We build custom software, mobile apps and websites for clients, and we operate our own products such as Tutorey. This policy explains what we do with personal information in all of those cases.
1. Information we collect
We keep collection to what we need to answer you and run our software.
- Information you give us — your name, email address, phone number and the details you write in our contact form or send by email.
- Account information — if you use one of our products, the details needed to create and secure your account.
- Technical information — IP address, browser type, pages visited and approximate location, collected automatically when you browse the site.
- Communication records — emails, messages and call notes relating to a project or support request.
2. How we use information
- To reply to enquiries and prepare scope, estimates and proposals.
- To deliver, support and maintain the software we build or operate for you.
- To send service messages such as reminders, invoices and important product notices.
- To improve our website and products by understanding how they are used.
- To meet accounting, tax and other legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your project details to train or market to anyone else.
5. Client and product data
When we build or maintain software for a client, that client controls the data inside it and we act on their instructions. When you use one of our own products, we control the data and this policy applies directly. In both cases we access production data only when it is necessary for support, migration or fixing a fault.
6. Retention
We keep enquiry records for up to two years, project and billing records for as long as accounting rules require, and product account data for as long as the account is active. After that we delete it or remove anything that identifies you.
7. Security
We use encrypted connections, access controls limited to the people who need them, and regular backups. No system is completely secure, so if a breach affects you we will tell you and the relevant authorities without undue delay.
8. Your choices
You can ask us to give you a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, or stop sending you marketing messages. Write to us at the address below and we will respond within 30 days. If we hold your data on behalf of a client, we will pass your request on to them.
9. Children
Our products are bought by businesses and institutions, not children. Where a product holds student records, the school, coaching centre or guardian is responsible for that information and we process it on their behalf.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page, and for significant changes we will tell account holders by email.
11. Contact us
Questions about privacy, or a request about your data? Write to us and we will come back to you.
